Thandi

When I posted the pictures of the elephants I didn’t have any of Thandi . Today Sandy, Donna and I did the tourist thing and went to see the Ellies in our civies – it was good because we could interact with the elephants without having to take observations and the guides were relaxed with us as they knew we knew how to behave in the field around the elephants – and we knew all the elephants

A selfie with Thato - I couldn't get her whole face in !

Thandi means 'love' in Zulu She became the first born elephant in the park in 2003 - Nandi is her mother She can be rather bossy and is a bit of. Show off Although Keisha is prob my favourite, Thandi comes a close second as she is a lot of fun :-)
