Friday evening 10 of us went to The look out Deck restaurant in the bay. We sat outside as there was a lovely view over the sea so they gave us blankets to wear when it got cold

When we got back Donna,Lou and I had booked into the lodge where you can watch the elephants in their sleeping quarters. Lou and Sarah had an executive room so had a balcony overlooking the outside Boma and a window in their room to see the inside Boma ( where the elephants sleep) Donna and I had the room named Thandi which wS very apt as it was Thandi’s birthday. There is a lounge area where all rooms can sit to watch the elephants at night. Even in the rooms you can still hear the elephants low grumbling and moving about

We had to sit in here when we did any overnight observations but couldn’t stay in the rooms 😦
Joke of the day:-)
Q: What do you call two elephants on a bicycle?
A: Optimistic!
Q: How do you know if there is an elephant in the pub?
A: It’s bike is outside.
Q: How do you know if there are two elephants in the pub?
A: There is a dent in the cross-bar.
Q: How do you know if there are three elephants in the pub?
A: Stand on the bike and have a look in the window.
