Skukuza Rest Camp

On Wednesday we did an early morning safari drive on our own at Pretoriuskop, had brunch at the Wimpy, then drove over to Skuzuza camp which is the largest camp. This has a decent restaurant and conference facility + a decent shop. Our bungalow had cooking facilities along with a BBQ so we bought meat and salad stuff to do ourselves a braai, but first we went on an organised sunset safari. Once it got dark we had large torches to try to see animals. We did see elephants, a giraffe, rhinos, Impala and other antelope.
Once we got back to our bungalow we cooked our Braai

You will notice that the fridge has a cage over it - this is to stop monkeys stealing things out of the fridge... Bad luck Clyde

The following morning we took an early morning drive where we saw lots of animals including a hyena and warthogs
We then had brunch at the nice restaurant before driving to Crocodile Bridge- we took our time as we were driving parallel to the river – we saw a lot of animals along the way, including Lions!
